yay or nay?

Flat knee-high boots by Delman. Available at Neiman Marcus. On sale for $225 (leather)/ $198 (suede). Girlfriends bombarded me with IMs of "should I get, what color should I get?" I fancy flat but oh-so-tall boots. I suggested Brown at first. But, Black leather is hot too.

Help me so maybe I can help them?

If you want her same exact shade in leather, you can call your local Neiman Marcus store. A girlfriend of mine snagged her's at Neimans for $350.

There's nothing like a pair of tall boots - good ammo for any outfit.

Chloe Paddington Boots

After what seemed like weeks of waiting, I finally got my Chloe Paddington boots. When I found out the boots were getting seriously discounted, I quickly called my sales person at Saks Fifth Avenue to track them down for me. A few days later, she called with good news. There was a return in my size!

I saved 60%! Regular price of these babies --- $1,155.

Boot Talk

After all this talk about boots and which pair, which style to choose - I finally sealed the deal. The Steve Madden Heidii's are a compromise of style and pricing. This boot mimicks a combination of designer styles. Thanks to my gal pal Peilee for her eagle eyes and open mind, I can finally relax on boot shopping.......well, for at least a week. =)

Check out Sienna Miller. She was recently spotted in London in her high heel boots again. I know why she loves them so much. They're just gorgeous. Ahh, if only I had pockets deep enough to afford these Chloe Silverados. If you do, by all means check out them out at Net-A-Porter but they're almost all sold out - even at $1,155!

Or a more attractive option - for $250 - $280, you can go with either the Dolce Vita double-buckle platform or multi-buckle platform.

Boot ID?

Can anyone help me ID these boots (as worn by Lindsay Lohan, Nicole Richie and Elisha Cuthbert above)? Lindsay was just spotted wearing these boots a couple weeks ago while shopping at Barneys! Please share the wealth if you do. =)
